Reflection on photo shoot
For the photo shoot, myself and Beth had a photography student take the photos of us so that we could have a feel what it is like to be the other side of the camera. I found this quite hard to get into a correct frame of mind to relax, from this I learnt that my artist(s) need to be able to relax and feel comfortable around me. I started my photo shoot with quite a few people in the room which made me feel nervous, from this I learnt that when having a photo shoot with my artist(s) I need to only have the people there who need to be there to minimize the people within the room so that they can relax. The photographer for myself and Beth wasn't very bossy so we didn't know what to do and what positions/poses looked good and professional. From this I learnt that before the photo shoot, I will have to research a few good ideas for the artist(s) in both individual and group shots. I think I would also need to be more bossy to ensure that the artist(s) look confident within what they are doing and that we would have photographs that look professional!
