Reflection on the photo's

When looking at the photos, I found that many of the photo's had blurred so I decided that when I am taking the photo's for my artist(s) I will need to use the tripod, this will help ensure that these photos will be better quality and not blurred. I also noticed that we took loads of photos: this was a really good thing as it then gave us a wide choice when choosing the photos for our digi-pack. Beth and I took many different group and individual shots which gave us a variety of choice once again. I found that because we used props, most importantly the guitar and microphone, this helped our shots look professional and realistic. With the instruments, this gives the impression that we would be a band who can play live which would help us get more fans - I made the decision that if possible I would like my artist(s) to show their instruments within their photo shoot. We had our photo shoot in the 'dark room' meaning we had cloth and fabric behind us in the shots giving the professional and realistic feel of a real photography studio, this should hopefully help with editing the background out of the shots too. An improvement I will need to make within my photo shoot, is to ensure that there are not shadows behind the shot and on other artists faces, although this looked reasonably good within some shots, others it ruined them and covered each others faces so this would need to be checked. I have also made the decision that during our photo shoot for our artist(s), we need to check the photo's as we are going along to ensure that nothing bad has happened during our photo shoot and that we do not need to reshoot any photos; this is to help ensure we have more good quality photo's. I noticed that because Beth and I were in full costume, this helped create our image and create an target audience. This also made the photograph's look professional and realistic as well as the overloaded make-up; this made the faces shine up more within the photos. The lighting was really important to our shots and was helping back-up our image so I now have learnt that I will need to ensure the lighting is perfect within my photo shoot with my artist(s).
